Jasper suspects among those arrested for Canton armed robbery

Canton Police Press Release

On Thursday, September 21, just before 11:30 p.m., Canton Police officers were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery at 12 Jefferson Circle. A description of the suspect vehicle (a red Dodge Dart) was given by the victim and broadcast to units as they responded. Officers quickly spotted the vehicle on Main Street as it neared Interstate 575, initiated a traffic stop and took numerous individuals that were occupying the car into custody. Officers, along with police detectives, arrived at the Housing Authority unit on Jefferson Circle, cordoned off the crime scene, collected additional statements and secured a search warrant for the residence.

After further investigation, detectives were able to locate the firearm used in the crime, a felony amount of drugs. Detectives determined that the complainant in the case was set up by the suspects to meet him at the vacant residence in order to forcibly rob him of the cash and narcotics he was bringing to the meet location. Additionally, detectives discovered none of the individuals involved lived on Jefferson Circle or in the adjoining neighborhood. I sure wish all the crime from rural north Georgia would quit coming down here disrupting our quiet metro area. First you have a bunch of hoodlums shooting up our streets, now your kids are down here robbing us. Y'all need to stay up in North Georgia.

Did you read the article before you wrote? Three people were from the town of Jasper, you know the one town NORTH OF YOU! If you think Jasper is a rural town from North Georgia, watch the Sherriffs crime pages. Rural north Georgia has lost dogs and found dogs. Canton, has shootings and robberies, one was from Duluth, one from Acworth, two from Canton. Google canton Georgia arrests. Look and the crime and who is doing it. Cherokee county residents are the ones involved. Murders, shootings robberies.

Brandishing isn't what I would do, though. Yeah, even if we're anonymous. Telling them to stuff it is always an option.

As to there allegedly being six (6) armed robbers so nearby in Canton...

Is shadow of a doubt a real thing, or is that something that only existed for Perry Mason on the tubular tubes?
